Do Newspaper Endorsements Matter?

The Arizona Republic has endorsed Sen. John McCain for president.  No surprise there considering that Senator McCain is the biggest political thing out of Arizona since his predecessor, Barry Goldwater (whose grandkids endorsed Sen. Barack Obama for president — see below)
But wait, there’s more. The biggest paper in Alaska, Governor Sarah Palin’s domain, supports…Senator [...]

Is that extortion I smell?

So this is what you have to do to get anti-gay legislation passed.  Who knew?
I can’t even comment on how despicable this is.  It’s a whole new level.
So that’s what my son meant when he said “what’s that stench”. (Yes, my 5 year old has stench in his vocabulary.)
