The economy
Here’s a comment that I left on a friend’s Facebook page. This encapsulates what I feel about the economy right now:
“Well, we are only getting the short end of socialism. No universal healthcare, literacy or college education, noooo. We get to pay off the bad decisions of greedy execs. Government running things isn’t bad when there’s direct and total accountability. This is the opposite. They are using the government to cover up the financial shenanigans of some greedy companies.
What about bailing out working class folks? What about forgiving all student loans? What about bailing out people struggling to get out from under debt then making credit harder to get (except for student loans which should keep their low interest rates)? What about rolling back the changes made to bankruptcy?
Stuff like that is why I am voting for Sen. Obama. When McCain had his chance to rein the greedy in…he didn’t.”
