Click here for an interesting view of Ohio and probably the most short-sighted depiction of liberals I have EVER seen. And they call themselves journalists…
Just who is an evangelical Christian anyway?
Who said that being a Christian meant that you are also a Republican?
If that is the case (which I do not think it is), then I say this. I love God more than a political party so I would choose neither the Democrats OR the Republicans. And a big fat finger goes to the numb nuts that want to make me choose between those two increasingly limited options.
Politics is how you get through the day, how the country is run. Religion is a guide, a code if you will, on how to live life. Some people are Christian, some are Muslim, some are Jewish, some don’t have a plan…but, isn’t that why God gave us free will? We can walk to him or away from him. If we want to take up the quest to spread his word, we must go peacefully and with love in our hearts, not violently (a la the Crusades) or with disdain (”we must save these God-damned pagans!”) for those who we want to embrace God. Also, politics cannot, I repeat, CANNOT be used as a tool for the aforementioned disdain (anti-domestic partner benefits — which attack heterosexuals and non-related, non-involved cohabitators–don’t believe the bull– and miscegenation laws). Yes, you read that properly, miscegenation laws…more on that later.
